Refund policy

Order Cancellation

If you need to cancel, email us at mayday@ancestraloutdoors.com within 1 hour of placing your order. We can pull it before it ships and issue a full refund.

After that 1-hour window, your order may already be in processing and on its way. If that's the case, let it arrive and use our return process below.

Returns

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to return an item. To be eligible, the item must be unused and in its original packaging. We'll also need proof of purchase.

Return shipping is the customer's responsibility. Original shipping costs are non-refundable — if your order included a shipping charge, that won't be returned. If a return shipping cost applies, it will be deducted from your refund.

Once we receive and inspect the item, we'll send you an email with the outcome.

Gift cards are not eligible for return.

International Returns

International orders have a 60-day return window from the date of purchase. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility, and the correct customs declaration must be completed on the package — incomplete or mislabeled customs forms can cause delays or problems on our end.

Exchanges

We replace items when they arrive defective or damaged. If that happened to you, email us at mayday@ancestraloutdoors.com with your order details and a photo if you have one. We'll sort it out.

How Refunds Are Processed

Once your return arrives and we've had a chance to inspect it, we'll email you to confirm receipt and let you know whether the refund was approved.

If approved, the credit is applied to your original payment method within a few business days. Processing times can vary slightly depending on your card issuer or bank.

Late or Missing Refunds

If your refund hasn't shown up yet, here's the order to check:

  1. Look at your bank account directly — sometimes it's there before the notification arrives.
  2. Contact your credit card company — posting can take a few business days on their end.
  3. Contact your bank — there's sometimes a processing delay before it appears.

Returning High-Value Items

For items valued over $75, we recommend using a trackable shipping service. We can't guarantee we'll receive a return shipment without tracking, and that protects both of us.
